Not from the area and have never been in downtown Greensboro before so we didn't know what to expect...this place was recommended by a colleague. Restaurant is very easily accessible to public parking and has a very welcoming outdoor dining area that we would like to visit in warmer months. After thinking we could grab a quick bite at a downtown pub we were pleasantly surprised when we got to eat at this fantastic restaurant instead! The service, food and atmosphere were all top notch! They had something for everyone one the menu. I would highly recommend this great place to everyone!

Liberty Oak has been around for more than 25 years, first on Lawndale Drive and in more recent years, on Washington Street in downtown Greensboro. The food is consistently good, the pasta salad is the best. it is, without question, a favorite.

I have eaten here twice for lunch and enjoy the food. It is simple and done well. It is nice to sit on the patio on a Spring day and see the hustle and bustle of downtown.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in downtown Greensboro. Nice outdoor dining patio and indoors is pretty with tablecloths and an attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff.
