Went there for our last night in Bali upon recommendation of a friend and did not regret it. We had to wait for our table for about 30 minutes which we were a bit upset about in the beginning but were then given one of the best tables right in front of their very nice garden. Only restaurant we have... More

The ambiance is lovely. People who like furniture and artifacts can take a look there. Must call for fish of the day. We had black basa for lunch. Delicious! My sister recommends Foie gras with pears and a cranberry reduction. We called for the cool mint drink, it didn't have the sweetness which I like. Tasted more of cucumber than... More

What a discovery! 9 of us and it was just superb. A busy bustling place, we thought service would surely be slow....but NO...it was prompt, friendly and with smiles all round. The pan fried scallops and prawns, the trio of fish dish, the quail, beef and so on...simply outstanding fine French dining. Lost for words to describe the outstanding desserts.The... More

We enjoyed the experience until next table decided to smoke and then another adjacent table started to smoke. We would only return if the smokers were segregated away from people who are there for the dining experience.

One of our family was having a birthday so we wanted to find somewhere really special for dinner and wow we were so glad we tried Metis. The food and service were just amazing. We all immensely enjoyed our meals - the stuffed Zuchinni Flowers were very popular, and the pork belly, trio of fish and all the desserts were... More

I went to Metis last week for lunch. I had a fantastic meal in an amazing space. The food is as good as it gets and the wine list is as impressive as any 2-3 hat Sydney restaurant. Make sure you get here when in bali.

Impressive place, great dining, beautiful view on some rice paddies, waitress told us it is normally more busy than that cause we were not much people having dinner, but the service is excellent, the food also, a bit expensive but i guess it worth it..

A handful of tourists were dining here but even many of them were accompanied by locally residing Westerners. This is not the likeliest place to be just walking by and then deciding to stop in. You should seek it out as we did searching through reviews. The antique gallery alone is worth a visit and the setting over lily ponds... More

Whenever I need good food and perfect service, I dress up and visit Metis. Reliable quality in every way. I used to go there for dinner, but recently I've found out they have really good lunch sets at a reasonable price, and I visit them more often now. Wednesday noon's couscous is a stunner. My favorite dish here is the... More

This place was recommended by two friends separately, so we made sure that we booked for dinner. We were promptly seated at a great table facing the lily ponds and were offered menus and drinks immediately. The menu was varied and it was difficult to choose something as everything sounded great! When the food came, it was beautifully presented and... More
