If you are looking for a good cider rather than just drinking beer, and want casual, fun and a place for reasonably good food that is just off State Street, you are all set. This is THE place to go and a real favorite of college students.

I went to Brocach a lot during my undergraduate studies in part to having studied abroad in Northern Ireland. It was a place I knew had the Irish Ciders that I love so much. They also have some fun cocktails too. My favorite dishes are the fish & chips and the bangers & mash! I love it so much I...

I LOVE coming to Brocach. It's friendly and fun! The authentic music they find to play is wonderful. Almost as great at their Stoli Doli's...seriously, try one up! Almost a tragedy when they run out of Stoli Doli.
My husband and I stopped in this restaurant on a whim last night. We've been to the UK and eaten in pubs there and while you'd never mistake this place for a traditional UK pub (too well lit, clean and new), you'd be remiss if you didn't give this place a try.
I had the fish and chips and my...

This restaurant serves quite delicious Irish based foods. I can't really compare it to real Irish cuisine, but everything I have had there has been very yummy. I would recommend the shepherds pie, the serving size is huge, you'll have enough for lunch the next day!
We love this place. We visited for the first time in December and came back in February. Both times we enjoyed the atmosphere, the great service, and the delicious food. My husband loved the bangers and mash and had it both times. I had the salmon special the first time and the fish fry (fried haddock) the second time. Both...

The Irish Stew, made with beef and lamb meat is delicious! Definitely reminiscent of a traditional pub meal on the emerald isle. this place is filled with Irish charm and flair, and many of the staff (at least on my visit) seem to speak with an Irish accent as well. Well worth a visit - just across the street from...

The Bangers and Mash was wonderful. The fried cod was over cooked and dry, but the curry slaw was great. Dessert included their cheese cake that was delicious. The pasta with salmon was tastey.
We walked to dinner from HotelRed and enjoyed a delicious fish fry. I saw the Shepherd's Pie being delivered to the next table, and I will definitely be ordering that on our next visit. Baked Cod and Beer Battered Haddock ... slaw, rye bread ... and seriously, the best German Potato Salad I've ever eaten (so much that I asked...

I had virtually despaired of getting a Guinness that was even vaguely worthy of the name until I found Brocach. Now before I get anyone's hopes up, it's still not the same as a Guinness in Dublin, but it's miles ahead of anything else I've found in the States so far in this respect.
The food here (that I've had)...
