Six of us ate here 2 nights running. All the food was authentic and delicious. We had schnitzel, chops and goulash. We returned for a second night as the food was so good. It's a small restaurant and booking is recommended.

Jäger Haus Since we were cold and hungry we decided to go to a German Restaurant. Since it was around 9 pm, we decided to call ahead to make sure the Jager Haus was still open. Happily it was. The Jager Haus is open to 10 pm everyday. Since we called, our party of 4 was happily greeted at the... More

Stopped in for a late lunch. my wife loved the barbecue shrimp!! I had the fruit de Mer. Thought it was okay, large oysters tasteless. however, the chocolate pecan cake dessert is AMAZING! one of the best pieces of food on our entire trip. Worth a special visit just for the cake!

We went for breakfast here since it was across the street from our hotel. Service was quick and friendly and our breakfasts were delicious! I can only imagine how good the dinners must be!

We ate here several times on our trip and the food and service was always amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for vegetarian or gluten free goodness.

The husband and I ate here on our last night in New Orleans. We both love German food and since we live in the South, Cajun food is nothing new to us. So, we decided to try Jagerhaus. Boy were we glad we did! The beer selection was great, our server was very helpful and not overly attentive; which is... More

Unfortunately we discovered this place at the end of our stay, so we went there only twice – once for breakfast and once for launch. Both times were great. The food was delicious, reminded me of the one we had in Germany. The menu is very diverse, they offer dishes from European cuisine, like Hungarian soup gulyash and French crepes,... More

We are visiting NOLA for a professional meeting and stumbled upon this restaurant. It Is Wonderful!! We enjoyed our dinner so much we went back the next day for lunch to try the goulash they were out of the night before. We have had four different appetizers, all of which were great and flavorful. The jagerschnitzel was flavorful and tender,... More
