They quite a few flavors of pralines--almost all of which we tried over the course of days--all delicious! They quite a few other confections as well. They were quite generous in their ice cream portions as well.

This place has the best pralines in the city. They weren't overly sweetened like the others we tasted. No wonder this place was packed on a Wednesday afternoon. Make sure to stop in and get some pralines for home. Your family will be very happy you did. They will even offer to shrink wrap it for you. Try the peanut...

we tried the pralines and they were very good, but if you have had the River Street Pralines from Georgia or Charleston, these don't really compare.
We bought 4 different kinds of pralines which we brought home to eat. Each kind was better than the next. They are made there so they are really fresh. Also, the nuts in the candy was very fresh
I tried pralines at a few other places BUT this place had the BEST pralines I've ever had! The prices are a little high but worth every penny. I also tried the sea salted caramel thing and it was amazing. Went back before I left New Orleans just to purchase more of these amazing treats.
We got the rum, coconut and regular pralines (pronounced prah-leenes in Nawlins!). They ship to anywhere in the US, and are very rich (I have been having them every day at home; they were initially meant as gifts for friends!).
These are the best pralines in NOLA, in my opinion, and they come as fresh as fresh can be. Woman behind the counter was super friendly and was happy to offer samples. Also asked if I was traveling and offered to shrink-wrap each box so they would travel better. I wanted to bottle up the smell of the store! Only...

After trying a lot of the pralines for sale in the French Quarter...I think these are the best! Creamy with large chunks of pecans!
We stopped here due to the great reviews and picked out a few pralines to try. Our favorite ended up being their plain praline. As others mention, try the many praline options around New Orleans to taste test. In the end we decided Evan's pralines were slightly better, with Southern Candymakers a very close second. Sweet competition regardless, so enjoy.
My family enjoys visiting New Orleans. We always have to stop in and buy some of this shops candy. We have never been disappointed. We enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries, pralines, sea salt caramel pecans, and some ice cream. All of which was fingerlicking good!!
