Can't beat the real BBQ shrimp and veal dishes. Great wine list, crusty French bread, good turtle soup. Outstanding service! Parking in the rear.
This is a real traditional New Orleans restaurant. As always, the restaurant was lovely and the service was terrific as always. I've eaten there many times in previous years and it remains wonderful , The barbeque shrimp ( and everything else) was great. Some of our party had meat dishes and were quite please. Always a wonderful choice when in... More
First trip to Pascal's tonight on recommendation of a friend who ate there fifteen years ago. Excellent food and service. Walking in looks like a little dive bar with an oyster bar and then inside there is white linen service. Had the soup du jour of crab, leeks and garlic. Heaven in a bowl.
Second visit to this restaurant. Just as good this time as the first. Highly recommend. Perhaps best meals in NOLA. Seafood fresh and prepared so well. A must visit.
Had dinner reservations at 7:00. Arrived early and got cocktails and a token and went to the oyster bar. Basic set up, self serve with crackers, sauce, lemons, and utensils and you just stand at the bar. Gave the shucker the token and he proceeded to put shucked oysters in front of us. They were phenomenal. We had 1 1/2... More
My wife and I ate there one evening recently and really enjoyed it. I had the barbequed shrimp, their signature dish, for the first time since the 1960's. Honestly, it hasn't changed a bit, still messy and delicious. My wife had redfish and was also pleased. This is yet another iconic establishment in New Orleans and has survived the years... More
Good food and excellent waitress. Seating host and hostess had an attitude of not caring. They made us wait 10-15 minutes to "set" the table even though we had a private room and arrived at the time of our reservation. When we finished we asked our waitress to call a cab. We waited 30 minutes. When we complained, the hostess... More
Loved the BBQ Shrimp! This is a nice change from Bourbon Street. We loved the shrimp and would recommend this restaurant. Do use the bib they give as it does make a mess, but worth it.
While the BBQ Shrimp is the signature dish at Pascale's, it is the atmosphere, the service and the good time that are the star. We had oysters every way possible. Personally I like the raw best. Most of us had the BBQ Shrimp for dinner. I've been here before and loved the spicy brown sauce so much I dunked my... More
There seems to be a wide swath of reviews about this place and we can certainly see why. Our experience was that it was better that "average" but not in the "very good" category. We started with the turtle soup and it was one of the best (if not the best) we had in NOLA. The Oysters Bienville were pretty... More
