We've been traveling up and down Panama and it's definitely been a highlight among all restaurants in this country. The owner and his wife are lovely people and helpful. Food was great!! :)

Was not at all, what other reviews had said.....service was slow, which is common here in Panama, food was served at room temp rather than hot. It was just not worth noting in any way.....

You gotta love this town.. Where can you get ribs, cole slaw, fresh grilled tuna(rare) a local band and great conversation?? Look for that anywhere else in this area.. Never find it!! John is the man and Smiley's is the place.. Make the bar bigger, John***

This is a very casual restaurant. The food was very good and service was surprisingly attentive . I had the amberjack fish which was well seasoned and nicely served, beers were ice cold as I recall. Not bad at all, but not much more. An American-owned and -run place with prices that are almost American.

We used this restaurant as a standard by which to judge all others in Pedasi. The others didn't come close. the fish was great, presentation was wonderful and service was excellent. On Friday nights the owner, John, and other expats get together and provide musical entertainment. Not bad for a bunch of old men.

Loved this place. On Tuesday and Friday nights the owner, American and his expat buddies play live classic rock and roll. They were so good and had everyone dancing before the night was over. The food was very good and meeting so many fun loving people was a blast! We can't wait to go back.

We had lunch here one day as the food at Hotel Romano was repetitive. Friendly service and a good selection of food. I also had a fruit smoothie as I was driving............delicious. We missed out on the evening entertainment as we could not negotiate the road from Villa Romano at night. Worth a revisit to this nice restaurant.
