We came to the restaurant tired and hungry after a day hiking the hills. The food was average. My wife had salmon which was overcooked (dry and tough). It always amazes me that chefs in Alaska can't cook salmon properly. Portions are relatively small for the price. The view from our table was very good overlooking the small boat harbor... More

Had 1.5 lb of king crab (50$)and halibut (30$)with a cup of chowder. Food was great. They have an extensive wine list and I had glacier IPA on tap. For the two of us it was over $100. View was awesome. Food was great especially the chowder. A little pricy but so is everything in Alaska.

We didn't come here based on any recommendation other than my wife wanted crab legs.... fortunately, she wasn't terribly disappointed as she said they were quite good. My salmon special on the other hand was particularly bland and the Creole Bread Pudding just as much so. The service was efficient but when my wife asked for a soup recommendation, he... More

I've been to Ray's 4 times now. Everything that I order, and everyone else around me orders (we sample each others) is always a mouthwatering pleasure. Here is the catch, every time I've been, someone has paid for me. It is quite a bit out of the price range I'd be willing to spend regularly. If I were to take... More

Every chance I get when visiting Seward I like to eat at Ray's Waterfront. I have never been disappointed in anything I've ordered. Service is fast, unless you hit a particularly busy time, but even the short wait is well worth it.

The views from the dining room are great, even on a cold, rainy Mat day. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive and helpful in making the wine choice. The planked salmon was overcooked and lacked even an adequate amount of brandy glaze. The best part of the meal was the bread and olive oil/balsamic/herb dip. The mudslide cheesecake was... More

Had lunch with teenage daughter and wife. Fish was excellent, daughters burger was great. Clam chowder was very good too. Prices were a little pricey $14 burger, $15 shrimp. Meal was great as well as service and view. I'd come back for sure.

We had crusty bread, olive oil, sea salt and balsamic vinegar as an appetizer and loved the view. The steak and salad came, it was perfectly done. What more could we ask for? Excellent.

If you have been blessed to experience AK and a trip that includes Seward, please do not miss Rays for either lunch or dinner. At the outset, please know that I do not like Seafood! Also, please know that I have learned to not order a steak or prime rib in a seafood restaurant. At Rays, throw all of that... More

There was nothing to dislike. Try to get a window table to get maximum views of the mountains and the harbor. The food is delicious and the staff was friendly and efficient.
