Scotty and his wife have retired. After years of great food they have decided to chill out for a while and write a cook book.

Fabulous small plates restaurant with spot-on service. Highly recommended. Reservations recommended for seating larger groups.

I would not recommend going to this restaurant!! Food is overrated, and the staff is very rude!! Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant!!

I really like this restaurant and the ambiance. It has great small italian plates and definitely more approachable then Lamprey. Needs to change the menu more often. The same menu indicates not as local and fresh as could be. If visiting and staying near Belltown definitely worth the trip.

I read all the great reviews on TripAdvisor, Frommer's and Yelp and was very excited to try this place out, but I have to say, I was disappointed. Came w/ a couple friends and tried about a half dozen dishes, and really, the only one I’d order again was the desert -- a gratin of red and golden raspberries, warm... More

The exquisitely prepared and presented food and the explosion of tastes, along with the relaxed environment made this an extraordinary dining experience. I especially liked the crudo of tuna (amazing taste combination) and the orange confit. Two dishes plus a dessert were more than ample. The owner was warm and welcoming and handled a guest spilling a drink with discretion.... More

The food here is small plate style - very small. Italian themed dishes that are smaller than even typical tapas plates. The food is very nice here, some better than others. The 2 pastas we had (gnocchi and raviolo) were out of this world. If in the area I would at least stop in to try the raviolo - duck... More

I went with a friend quite early on a rainy weeknight so I don't know what the place is like when there are lots of people there as we were practically alone. It's a pretty spot, with lots of wood and nice lighting. We each ordered two dishes. We both had the spagattini with spring peas ($8), he had the... More

If you expect large portions you will be stunned: this is about choice flavors. You can spend alot and leave wanting more. But it is nonetheless in a class by itself and merits a visit if you a gourmet. Amazingly this is the scion of a much more expensive restaurant which was a Seattle Classic for decades. Nearby and across... More
