Wonderful sandwiches, plus being there is part of the fun. Stood in line for 20 minutes or so, then sat in the communal dining area. If you're in a group I would highly recommend splitting several things so you can try more than one!

Arrived at 10:30 on a cold, windy day and was still number 10. Ordered the Salumi sandwich and my wife the porchetta sandwich and found a place at a table. Each sandwiches were big enough for two and the meats excellent. The porchetta weighed heavy on the stomach, whether the size of the sandwich or the pig fat the bread...

The line gets long early, so be sure you get there 15-20 minutes before it opens. I got married on top of Mt. Index, so I had a variety of salami cut for my wedding hike! Excellent food!
I enjoyed the food, it's a small place, so the ambiance lacks a bit . I was with my son, so of course I enjoyed the company the most!

Luckily we went on a Tuesday, and my daughter was able to get the last order of gnocchi! The gnocchi were excellent...

During a two-week business trip to Seattle, I was lucky enough to be working upstairs from Salumi. We could look out the front window and see how long the line was. Chances are you're going to stand in line, even if you get there before Salumi opens. But it's well worth the wait.
The mole salumi was my favorite, great...

I went to Salumi for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. There was a fairly long line but I had been told the wait was worth it. I ordered the Mole Salami sandwich with fresh Mozzarella. The Salami had a slight hint of chocolate with a spicy kick. The Mozzarella was so fresh and tasty. The sandwich's are large and...

I have a hard time getting to Salumi because they keep odd hours, but it's definitely worth it if you can try. Mario Batalli can do no wrong.
We have attempted to have lunch at Salumi's on several of our trips to Seattle and were unlucky when it was closed for various reasons. We got there about 11:15 a.m. today (Tues.) and had a short 20 min. wait. While waiting we watched Marilyn Batali (Mario's mother) rolling the gnocchi. Today it was prepared with Salumi's marinara which I...

Try the finocchiona, you will love it. Casual small restaurant. Good sandwiches. Also try their appetizer plate.
