My wife and I are big fans of Steamers down on the wharf. They've been in business forever and every time we go to Seattle we have to stop and have the Alderwood smoked fish. She has the salmon and I have the cod or halibut. The food is great, the service is friendly, and the views are very nice.... More

Do not try this place, staff is rude and could care less about you or service. Food is horrible and almost uneatable.

When you stand in line to order food at a counter I guess you don't expect a whole lot. It was okay specially for the price. The weather was great and the tables were fairly clean. Your outside with the pigeons and tourists walking by. There was a boat tour place just behind where we sat that was constantly on... More

We actually tried to go to another place. However, the wait times were unacceptable, so we sort of stumbled upon this place. It was out 1st trip to Seattle. I had the grilled salmom, wife had the peel and eat shrimp. Both dishes were pretty good, price was very reasonable, service was okay. I would go back.

Steamer's is very casual with tables outside on the pier with a great view of the water. It's a fast food type cafe where you order at the counter, but they do bring the food to your table. The price was reasonable and the food was good. I had the pesto salmon sandwich which had a great flavor and the... More

I ate here for lunch while on a business trip. It was not crowded at all so there was no wait. I believe we ordered from the owner and it was the restaurants anniversary (something like 25 years I think) and he was giving everyone 20% off. We had the grilled salmon tacos on corn tortillas and fried along with... More

We ate at Steamers our first night in Seattle. It is nothing fancy, very informal. The prices were VERY reasonable and the food was delicious. The chowder was awesome! The service (you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table) was great. The location is great, you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view.

Great location. And it looked like it would be a good place for fish & chips. However, it wasn't up to par. Warning: Don't try the halibut cheeks.

The food here is good, the fish is fresh, but everything may be cold by the time you get it. They have a really screwed up system of putting together orders. People who ordered 10-15 minutes later than you may get the exact food you ordered before you because they just randomly look at a tray with a receipt and... More

The food is greasy and certainly not fancy at all. The tables are sticky and greasy, but if you can get the right table, you do have a decent view. We've eaten there a few times over the years and sampled the fish, fish tacos and some other items.
