1/2 off appetizers and drink from 4 to 6 m to f. Sushi very good. Macadamin Nut Chicken rocks. We usually get a few sushi rolls and then split the chicken dish. Perfect for two.

We've been coming to Kona for years since it opened and we had a wonderful evening with another couple last night. We were seated immediately on a Friday night at 7p.m. although the tables were completely full most of the 3 hours we were there.. Had a combination of sushi, pad thai noodles and salads along with a Kirin. Our... More

Went to Kona Grill this evening no reservation made, was told we'd have 30 min wait but was seated within 10 mins. Waitress was speedy and friendly. Busy but chilled atmosphere and best of all food was amazing. My soft shell crab sushi could have been fooled tighter as it fell apart but my husbands was perfect along with the... More

Great food, wonderful service! First place I was brave enough to try sushi - servers were very knowledgeable and patient in explaining menu items - great for date night or lunch!

Went to lunch today with a friend and had the sweet-chili glazed salmon. I didn't taste any chili in the sauce at all (it was kind of an Asian sauce), but it was good. So if you're concerned about this dish being spicy, you're totally safe. The meal comes with shrimp & pork fried rice and seasonal vegetables, and they... More

It seems like the newness of this place has worn thin. Ambiance remains comfortable, on the dark side, pleasant and the noise level in the dining room isn't bad, though the volume from the bar is some times intrusive. Menu is quite broad, from sushi to burgers to a killer meatloaf and steak. Service is inconsistent, however; had to request... More

Love the Big Island Meatloaf and the Almond Crusted Chicken. Wife and I often share some sushi and then split the Almond Chicken dish. Great reverse happy hour after 9 with half price appetizers and drink specials. Love the pepperoni pizza flatbread.

The food, service and atmosphere were great ! My salmon was a little overlooked but still tasted great. They offered a new piece but I said it was still tasty. They offered us a dessert and we were all pleased.

Kona has my favorite Happy Hour ever! What is so good about it? Let me tell you - 1) It is available every day except Sunday (most places don't do Saturdays). 2) It is available twice during the week days - regular and reverse. Great on Friday night after a movie. 3) Kona offers both food and drink (not just... More
