Love the change up in the menu. Still kept the all time favorites so that's good, but new things are really tasty! Will definitely be back.
This restaurant has great reviews so I was looking forward to dining there. The appetizers were excellent: soppresatta and mortadella, fried goat cheese with honey and cracked pepper, and a gorgonzola wedge (also good with the honey and pepper). My lentil salad came and was so salty I could not eat it. I sent it back and the second lentil... More
Ecco is one of my favorite places for good conversation, atmosphere & attentive, knowledgable service
- European-inspired, Italian themed food is topflight - Highly recommend the Pappardelle pasta - Good capacity for larger groups and nice atmosphere for (adult) birthday parties, etc. - Ample bar seating as well - Try the cured meats & cheeses and pizzas as well
The charcuterie and goat cheese app are always treats here and they definitely keep the menu fresh and seasonal. Perfect place for a pre-show dinner whether hitting the Alliance, ASO, or Fox as they are both close and conscious of theatergoers' time pressure. One of our favorite picks in Midtown.
This dining experience almost didn't happen as my planned last dining experience fell through. I never was so happy to have things get in the way and be forced to adapt. Ecco was a wonderful dining experience and well worth it. Atmosphere: We got lucky since the place was packed - I get the sense it is most nights though... More
One of my favorite parts of Ecco is the location. It's in midtown but not in the main drag of restaurants. It's nestled in a little side street where it is left virtually alone by the craziness of midtown. I recommend coming a bit early for a drink at the bar - it's a cool area and well attended by... Went for dinner after making a same day reservation on Open Table (I'd recommend doing so - the restaurant always seems busy). Sat inside although they do have outdoor seating which seems very nice. We were impressed by the food and service. Try the fried goat cheese with honey as an appetizer and the Pappardelle pasta with braised pork as... More
Such an amazing location! The restaurant is beautiful and cozy. The food is delicious! I loved the fried goat cheese and the meats and cheeses. The desserts are so unique and yummy.
I've been coming to Ecco for years and it truly is a Midtown favorite, even spending a last minute new Years Eve stop at the bar for 2012. I'm a big fan of the goat cheese, any pizza from the kitchen and the paparedelle. The service is always top notch and the ambiance is always the perfect intersection of grown... More
