Great atmosphere and decor. Very professional wait staff. Food is nicely seasoned and made with fresh ingredients. Very nicely presented, too.

We went to Frederick for a nice dinner & found this place. It was awesome, great service & great food! Our waiter (tall bald guy can't remember his name) was so courteous! He even asked if we had food allergies! We had gnocci & short rib, both were delicious. Awesome place!!!

We wanted to have a light lunch............this restaurant looked interesting, so we selected it as our lunch stop...............but much too quickly, we discovered. We all were looking for a nice bowl of soup, but the only one that was of interest to us was the Baked Onion au Gratin. Unfortunately, the apple cider in the soup sweetened it to the... More

Two friends, my husband and I came here for lunch on a recent visit to Frederick. The dining rooms have an attractive, historic look. We were seated upstairs, and the waiter appeared quickly. All 4 of us had trouble finding something that we wanted on the eclectic menu. Three settled on the onion soup; my husband went with the oyster... More

So, I made reservations for my husband and I at 7:00 PM. As we were at the door a man in a down parka, that looked a little "off" asks us very rudely, if we have reservations. We say yes and goes before us to ask the hostess if our name is on the list. He lets us in. Doesn't... More

We went for happy hour. The service was slow and we had problems with our dinks and food. I feel like we should have gotten more attention.

We enjoyed our meal during a very busy evening. First, if you want a view of market street make sure you have a reservation. The bottom floor is first come first serve however don't have a large group for this floor. Great ambiance however can get loud so heads up. The bar area is fun with plenty going on.... The... More

My spouse and I dined at Firestone’s Culinary Tavern for Saturday lunch in late December 2012. We were in Frederick to dine at VOLT restaurant that evening, and we took a drive to the downtown area in the afternoon to acclimate ourselves to where we would be eating while there was still daylight. Frederick is such a cute little town!... More

Good food and service. Hands on owner who cares. Good place to visit for a lunch or dinner. No rush to turn the table over. Try the related market next door.
