Staff were very young and inexperienced. Service was so slow almost none existent. Food....meat fatty, chips tasted of old cooking fat and green fly on the lettuce on my starter! Complained to the manager who was lovely and understanding but her staff let her down.

My wife and I just happened to call in when passing and we were glad we did! I had the mackeral starter followed by the coley dish which was topped with a lovely welsh rarebit. Had the most amazing family Christmas, real homely feel, beautiful home cooked food, lovely log fires and all the staff went out of their way to ensure we all had a wonderful Christmas day. I would definitely recommend this to any family who are looking to relax whilst being waited on hand and foot, no cooking, no washing up, bliss!!!!

We had our Christmas eve lunch here today. Food was excellent, hot and plentifull, and service was warm and welcoming. We will return !!
