We went to get a light dinner there while staying at the hotel. Beautiful setting. Great service. Food was delicious! Abalone Chowder and Hawaiian Ahi Tartare were my favorites. My husband preferred Baby Back ribs and Chicken and Pine Nut Dumplings. You can pick your own lobster from a big water cave in the middle of the restaurant as well!

This restaurant is located on the grounds of the Grand Wailea Hotel and just a trip out to the hotel is something to behold and probably worth the effort alone. The restaurant itself is perfectly located over gigantic fish ponds and it has an authentic pacific islands feel to it. The front desk is a bit of a disaster with... More

what a disappointment location was nice but listen to all the bad reviews and realize there are much better options and value. Avoid all the dinning at grand wailea. They seem like the staff and managment jsut has given up on service and quality. For these prices it should be 4 or 5 star service. Go to 4 seasons instead... More

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at the Humu Humu one evening and the service was exceptional. I had the seared Ahi and it delicious beyond compare. It all wrapped up with one of the desserts posted in the picture section. It is a great place to view a sunset or just enjoy the ambiance. The tables are a bit... More

When I visit I usually eat dinner here at least twice. The overwater dining venue is super romantic and the seafood is quite good!

The setting was beautiful, the service was great, and the food was fantastic!! Although it was quite pricey, you do get what you pay for. We had the Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi and the Rack of Lamb, and we shared both plates with each other because the flavor of both meals was to die for. I've been around a... More

The flavors were well blended and the seafood fresh. The beef is local, grass fed and tasty. It was a little pricey but we enjoyed ourselves. The service was excellent and the scenery relaxing. We could hear the music from the Luau which added to the evening. Get there early to get a table by the railing so you overlook... More

Restaurant has very nice setting but very expensive for average food. There are better options outside the resort.

The tables are so crowded together here that you are essentially sharing dinner with those around you. We thought the food quality was excellent and the service was ok (except for the water guy who seemed to be in a race to refill glasses so quickly that every time he spilled water on the table). The Humu food is comperable... More

We were so excited to spend our first night in Maui at this supposedly romantic, seaside reaustarant. We were willing to pay more than $300 the dinner cost if the experience had been up to it, but we were seated right inside the entrance in the bar area, next to a table with a rambunctious toddler. Our romantic view of... More
