Dark, dank, and disgusting. The food was terrible (the steak was cold and over-cooked) and the service worse.

This was a favorite of my father-in-laws, and I still love it as much as he did. Nothing has changed... the atmoshpere is as described in my review title a dark pub-style (dating back to the 70's) perfect just as it is. Fresh bread is served with your meal, salad, soup, and a large portion entre, you either take a...

This restaurant has been in Albuquerque over 40 years ... 40 years of great food and great service. The prime rib is the special dish at Paul's ... See you there ..eat in the bar by the fire place.
First went there in 1976. I worked with Paul's wife. The food is very good and the prices are OK. This is one of Albuquerque's oldest dinner establishments.
Stepping into Paul's is like stepping back in time to the 70s or even the 60s. It's dark inside with wood paneling and black leatherette chairs and booths--it's obviously been remodeled but they kept the original decor, or the original 60s roadhouse 'feel'. This place is locally famous for great steaks and especially prime rib. We ate here on a...

This is by the far the best restaurant in Albuquerque. Food and service is excellent! Some of the waitresses have been there for more than 40 years. Favorite, favorite place!
My husband and I ate here for lunch. I had been with my parents as a child, and this was my husband's first time. It is a dimly lit, cozy place. Booths and comfy lounge chairs for seating. The hostess was super sweet and welcoming. Our waitress was nice, and we were never without. I got a salad and hubby...

My grandparents used to take me here for prime rib as a kid. As an adult I still love to go back. It is one of the more expensive steakhouses but it is worth the cost. It has a throw back to the 70's feel and the service is outstanding.
This establishment used to be top notch but the Salmon I had tonight was the worst I think I have ever had, dried out and way over cooked! The only reason I stayed was because of the great waitress and atmosphere. Will give this place one more chance to get it right but really prefer Savoy, Cosmos Tapas and Jinjay....

I recently had the ribeye steak which cost about $33.00 including tax and tip. While it was flavorful it was too thin to do that cut of meat justice and soon reached room temp as I ate. Accompanying French fries were warm and soon lost their heat as I ate the meal. There is clearly room for improvement here at...
