The Golden Crown truly exceeded our expectations! We found this little gem on Facebook, as the owner does a wonderful job with social media, and visited for the first time for lunch this weekend. We did not know what to expect from this family owned bakery, but we were thrilled! From the moment we walked in we were made to... More

We were each given our free biscochito, and bought six more original, along with a molasses pig cookie, a cherry empanada, and a mango pineapple smoothie. Prices were reasonable, service was friendly, and the items were all good, except for the smoothie having more the consistency of juice. We would have liked to have tried the pizza, but we were... Every "kid" gets a free biscochito (cookie) no matter their age. What's not to like about that? And if that isn't enough then their blue corn crust pizza is fantastic. A great place for tourists to eat with the locals. The service was fast and friendly too. All around great place.

We were anxious to try this restaurant due to the super reviews on tripadvisor.com. The building and décor are very quaint and cheery. There are a few seats indoors and lots outside. We chose to sit at the one table in the bakery area. We arrived just after high noon and expected a big line, but we were surprised to... More

Hot. Fresh. Smells delightful. Pizza was excellent and preteen approved. Parents enjoyed the big salad and assorted desserts. Well worth the stop.

This business is on the edge of Albuquerque's old town and occupies an older building with rustic facilities. Staff was super nice. Service was prompt. Prices are very reasonable. Pastries were fair. Pizza was very good and unlike any we have tried or seen elsewhere. The crusts come in three choices and all sounded good - but we had the... More

My wife and I had read reviews and stopped in for a simple pizza dinner. Our pizza was absolutely delicious and very unique. The crust was made with corn meal and contained green chiles - which may sound strange but worked brilliantly. We were so impressed that we went out of our way the next morning before our flight out... More

We stopped at this bakery for lunch on our long drive to Sedona, Arizona. It was a wonderful break from all of the driving. It is located in a cute, artsy area of Albuquerque. The bakery itself has a ton of character and is immediately welcoming. It smells amazing and there are many delicious pastries, sandwiches, pizzas, teas, and coffee... More

The short version: Reasonable prices and tasty food - would definitely go back again. The long version: My wife and I drove to Golden Crown "Panaderia" after visiting the Museum of Natural History & Science. It's a small place, with some cramped indoor tables, as well as several outdoor tables and a fire pit. There was some construction going on... More

If you are looking for something different and unique than this is the place. My wife and I came here to try their pizza. We are pizza snobs so decided we had to try what they now refer to as : "New Mexico" Pizza, not to be confused with any other style of pizza. They make pizza with 3 types... More
