Delightful evening at The Tavern at Marys Lake Lode in Estes Park. This lodge is under new management and a few changes have been made. The food is a bit pricy, but good. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Delicious strawberry & rhubarb pie!

I took my mother out to lunch here on a blustery, snowy April Saturday. Other than some musicians (who, presumably, were practicing for their evening gig), we had the dining room to ourselves. The food was tasty and nicely presented, but our strongest impression was the friendly service.

We came to Mary's for a weekend evening light dinner. We sat in the tavern area, and there was very good live music. The food was good, but the service was terrible! It was also expensive for what we ordered.

The restaurant was recently purchased and has changed the memu and food. The food is now poor and the menu was gutted. Gone are the reuban sandwich and the portabellow sandwich and the great value priced salads. The prime rib sandwich was so-so served on a bun bought from a grocery store.
