We stopped there as part of Alamo tour & had lunch. The food was good & the room was great. The service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait.

Wonderful breakfast in a historic home. The food is wonderful. Get there early or you could wait awhile. Saturday is better then Sunday. The house is really cool as well but the main event is the food. Just a good experience. We stuck around after breakfast and walked around the grounds. Bought some stuff in the gift shop and procured... More

Awesome place. Expect a waiting time. There is so much to do while you wait. Explore the house, the grounds, and if time walk through the neighborhood nearby. Lots of cool houses to look at. The store is pretty neat too. The food is great. Each time I've been the weather is perfect for eating outside. Would recommend.

Restored home built by founder of the Pioneer Flour Mills that is now a museum, restaurant, and gift shop located near the San Antonio River in historical downtown. Outside seating available, weather permitting, where you can be joined by ducks and birds that are, obviously, used to interacting with visitors. We only had a light lunch which was wonderful, and... Yes, the house is beautiful, the grounds are serene. But the food is basically a showcase of Pioneer brand baking products. We arrived one weekday morning right after opening time to find the place pretty empty and the staff in the middle of preparing for breakfast service. The dining area is a semi-basement and the noise of the staff's banging... More

Delightful breakfast in this charming old home. Wish we had room for the huge pastries located in the bakery. Great prices and great food! You can't go wrong here.

The pancakes are as big as your plate, so I only got a 2 stack, and that was plenty. Daily they have pancake/waffle flavor specials along with traditional. Their biscuits they set in a basket on your table are literally mouth watering. They do serve lunch, but B-fast was so good I recommend going for that. They have a bakery... More

The setting is incredible, and the restaurant itself is charming. When we arrived the parking lot did not seem very full, but don't let that fool you. There are trolley's dropping tourists off regularly and it was crowded. We waited a long time, but it was so worth it. The restaurant has coffee and water available free while you wait... More
