Short and Sweet: The atmosphere is cute and upbeat, and the food is generally wonderful. You will not be disappointed with Jambo's. I will acknowledge that the service can be (but not always) spotty at times but it is nothing to cry about. The food is generally wonderful with very few items that you're like "Meh" about. Don't forget to... More

I finally decided to try Jambo Cafe based on all the great reviews. I was not disappointed! My husband and I made reservations for 6:30 on a Friday night. When we got there, there were a handful of tables left, so not sure I really needed the reservation, but it did not hurt to be safe. We ordered the plantain... More

Oh my the food is amazing!!! My friend and I had a soup made of coconut and lime that was out of this world. We then did several starters, which we split. We were pleased and ultimately very full. The only bad thing was the waiter. I think he took everyone in the cafes order. Which you may think is... More

Visiting Santa Fe and on a tour..the guide recommended this place and it was a real treat! All the reviews commented on how good the food was and they nailed it! If you like Carribbean/African fusion, you will love the food! It was extremely flavorful without being overly hot. The mix of flavors includes coconut, peanut, jerk seasoning, curries, and... More

I am a picky eater and I have to say the Jambo Cafe opened up my eyes to the deliciousness of fried plantains!! It was the best food we had in Santa Fe. The staff is friendly and it has a great atmosphere! Make sure you finish off your meal with some coconut flan--Great food, great service, great price! Even... More

Jambo is off the beaten path from the plaza in Santa Fe, but if you're looking for authentic and very tasty Caribbean/African food, don't miss dining at Jambo. The wait staff is friendly and upbeat. We had the plantains and jerk chicken appetizers. Each one had such unique flavor profiles and each dish did not fall short on seasonings either.... More

The owner/chef makes sure the patrons are well taken care of. We had the hummus appetizer, combination platter, and the tilapia. All fabulous! So good we got the banana cocoanut cream pie to go.

This was a delightful restaurant, the food was delicious, so good in fact that we ate there twice in the 3 days we were there. The host was a delightful young man and the wait staff was attentative and friendly. But it was the food that was out of this world, the lamb stew was to die for as well... More

My wife and I have eaten at Jambo Cafe a half dozen times over the past couple of years, most recently last week. Food has always been great, but this last visit we had a bowl of their Spicy Coconut Guava Lime soup, the lifetime best we ever enjoyed. Spicy, not hot, deep flavor, wow! Better make reservation since they... More

The stews are okay, but the soups are so amazing. The flavor is changing in every sip, we are so glad we ordered both soups they offered that day. It was definitely a very joyful experience.
