After spending the day hiking and on the ATV's, my wife and I were looking to enjoy a nice dinner. With four children, it is not often that we get a chance to enjoy something more than chain restaurants. After looking at the reviews, we decided to try Shendoah Kitchen, only afer trying to get a reservation at Circa 31'.... More

We were pleasantly surprised to find this place open for lunch when we were in town visiting the caverns. We wanted something special, but something that would work for our children as well. Since we hit the timing at the end of the lunch rush, we thought it would work for us. The interior is very nice, but I realize... More

Great restaurant, tenative service, wonderul ambiance set in an 1900s Victorian. It is on the bottom floor of the Victorian Inn. The food is sometimes straight forward and other times whimsical. All expertly prepared, great to find such quality in the Shenandoah Valley. Good value as well considering the quality and thoughtful nature of service.

We enjoyed our dinner at Shenandoah Kitchen. This restored Victorian home is a gem! Our dinners were very good, and we had a great experience talking with our server, and Marcus, the owner/chef.

I recently had dinner at Shenandoah Kitchen and it was wonderful. Chef Olson and his staff made it a very delightful experience. The food was fresh and flavorful and well presented. I also work in the Food industry and was generally impressed with this rare find in Luray. Chef Olson was very knowledgeable about the history of the Victorian Inn... More

My husband and I ate here right after our wedding last year when it was under previous ownership and were blown away. We came back to discover it was unfortunately under new ownership with a completely different menu. We both found the food extremely bland. The bread that was served before dinner was tasteless and served with rock hard butter.... More

Started off poorly when the front door was locked. The hostess stayed on the phone and looked at us for 5 minutes. Finally a diner alerted a server who let us in. 4 of us from nova staying the weekend in a cabin and came in for dinner. We had been here the year before and loved the food and... More

We had a great relaxed dinner to celebrate a birthday. The food is a bit pricey but it was nice to see local cheeses, meats and vegetables on the menu. The house bread made by Chef Marcus is quite good. Our only complaint was that the dining rooms are very brightly lit. We're not sure why they have all the... More

We arrived fairly late on a quiet Sunday evening. The chef and staff graciously welcomed us and we had a delightful meal, with 3 of our party of 5 ordering the special, steelhead salmon expertly prepared, and the other two the Shenandoah meatloaf, an excellent interpretation with chorizo, bacon, and a rich sauce. A pleasant and attractively priced South African... More

My fiance, and I just had brunch here with 2 of our friends. We made reservations, but it wasn't busy and were seated immediately. The service was fantastic. We never had to wait for refills on our drinks or to have plates cleared. The food itself was also fantastic. We each had something different, but I would highly recommend the... More
