Since the Victorian Inn Restaurant was previously rated number one in Luray, Virginia, we decided to try it on April 28. Outside was a hand-written notice that the restaurant would only be open Wednesday through Saturday, pending receipt of its alcohol beverage license. This was the first clue that something might have changed. Inside, the waitress (the sole service employee)... More

We went to the excellent Caverns then searched tripadvisor and found this restaurant! The stained glass and Victorian style got me hooked, we were pleasantly greated by Barb. Sat right next to the stained glass windows. Great vegetable organic soup to start then black pepper cod that I want again! We agreed to share but I finished mine while he... More

All I can say is wow! I figured I would try this place out since the previous owner left and it was under new ownership, but, that was a huge MISTAKE! The food was HORRIBLE, I got what was called Lamb Spaghetti, just like it sounds, Spaghetti with a lamb chop, and a "poached egg" on top?!? The presentation of... More

The food was ok but the server was not attentive and they seemed disorganized. We understand the restaurant recently changed chef and staff. The kitchen was slow as well. More

This restaurant has changed hands a number of times over the past years, and each iteration is worse than its predecessor. Don't let the fancy menu fool you into thinking this is a fine dining establishment. There is absolutely no leadership on the dining room floor, and no indication that any staff training ocurred. Of two dinners, one was cold... More

We went out for dinner and were suggested by a local to visit The Victorian Inn Restaurant. As we entered the restaurant, were warmly welcomed by the manger who made sure our stay as pleasant. The food was so tasty and mouth watering and beyond our expectations. My girl friend liked spinach salad and chocolate dessert the most. I would... More

My wife and I ate here for our anniversary, the service was outstanding, very knowledgeable staff, and the night was made extra-special. First impressions of the restaurant were a grand, sophisticated atmosphere and top of that less costly. We were one of the last couples to leave, and Manager made the effort to talk to everyone as they made their... More
