We walked Flagstaff downtown on beautiful early evening and decided to visit Late for the Train new location.... It has good relaxing feel to it and the coffee was hot and tasty.
Ok, $6.80 for a 2 shot large Mocha (second shot is extra). For that you get a good coffee, horrible wi-fi, average ambiance, and crap service. Doing a good job justifying Starbucks.
This was a nice coffee shop and worth the stop. The coffee was Fresh, Hot and very good. We (there were 4 of us) also had some of the baked goodies and they were equally as good. Very nice stop for breakfast.
Don't take my word for it, just walk in the door and get your own first impression. Good variety of coffee drinks and baked goods. Nice outdoor seating on the sidewalk to enjoy your drink and treats. Indoor seating in a nice old part of downtown Flagstaff.
Stopped by on a trip to the Grand Canyon as I was getting tired driving. This coffee rocks! This is what coffee should taste like. Great place for caffeine and sugar recharge.
Gustatorius T, Glad to read that you loved your drink! Which one was it? Tired of driving? Where were you driving from....Texas? Just in case you were going to the Grand Canyon 'cause that's where you live, did you know that the guys over at Bright Angel Bikes serve up our coffee and espresso at their Mather Point cafe. Stay... More
Great lattes and mochas. The baked goods are homemade, though very skimpy. Good ambiance and very conveniently located right in the middle of town and across Monte Vista Hotel.
DanAndAssana, Glad to hear you loved your lattes and mochas. Sorry the baked goods got skimped. We are working with our contract bakeries to get on game with providing us with worthy muffins, cookies, brownies etc. Sometimes a slice of our zucchini bread can resemble a sheet of paper, other days, they are thick as a brick....there is always something...
