We walked past this restaurant on Sat evening and they were queuing out the doors. It sells produce and country style paraphanalia in addition to the very popular food service. It was excellent, but no alcohol served.
After much hype my husband and I ate here. The food was dull and overpriced. The bread was tasteless and mushy. The best part was the water and the sweet potato sides that we ordered with our meal. The service was fast. You may like this restaurant if your boring and has little to no tastebuds or like fried food.
I am going to have to say "Kudos to the staff!" There was a tour bus unloading hungry folks, long lines and the stuff quickly sat the people that where not with the tour. They even brought out our food within minutes!!! Outstanding job!
Quality control is evident at Cracker Barrel restaurants across the country - but the people here were exceptional! The food was great - as usual. One of the women in the gift shop was extremely helpful! As we toured the area for a few days we made a point to return for another meal.
I always find Cracker Barrel consistently good regardless of the city. Service is always good and help very friendly. Glad they put haddock on their menu. It used to be offered as a special but in the last couple of years it has become permanent. One of my favorite fish meals and they prepare it quite well.
We've been to Cracker Barrel's in several states! With friends, family, fellow travelers--from their front-porch rockers, to inside greeters, all are always welcoming! The extensive gift shoppe, penny candy counter, gourmet treat display, clothing, unique gifts, gadgets, and state-represented shopping, surely delights visitors!

My husband and I came for breakfast. Our server was really friendly and our food came quickly. My husband loved his Pecan pancakes. I was not so lucky. My hash browns were soggy, my eggs weren't cooked over-hard like I ordered them, and my bacon and ham were burnt. The waitress offered to replace the meal, but we were in...

Needed a pit stop during a long drive and came for coffee and a split order of corn muffins. Since we were only a couple of hours to a gourmet dinner we couldn't order large and spoil our planned fine dining.
Explained this to our lovely waitress, Mattea, who then proceeded to treat us like the best customers she ever...

Cracker Barrel is always a great bargain with excellent home cooked food--not fancy but well worth visiting for a good meal. Our family loves it and so do we! We visit often during our travels around the country--consistent good quality and the shopping is fun, too!
