Pho One is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Hawaii, indeed. I always order Vegetable Pho. Their Pho soup is clearly the best in all Hawaii!
Not too many people go to an Asian restaurant to expect exceptional service (there are exceptions out there), and this is one of them. Food is great if you are looking for traditional Vietnamese fares. Prices are comparable to island prices - a bit pricier than one would find on the mainland, but everything is a bit pricier in Hawaii.
During our "stay-cation" in Waikiki, after shopping at Ala Moana shopping center, hungry and hot. We hit Pho one for hot bowl of Pho. Broth was OK, rare beef and meatballs were tasty. Noodles excellent. They gave me extra jalapeños. Service good. Daughter had oxtails and given how fast she slurped it up, must have been good. Ultimately, the ~$9.00... More
You go to Pho One for the food... Most definitely NOT for for the ambiance/ decor and certainly NOT for the service. This is my go-to restaurant for Pho. Prices are good. Food is delicious. Ambiance is clean. Service is super efficient. Just a couple of days ago,... More
This is a very popular vietnamese restaurant to visit, especially for lunch. Go early if you want parking and seats. Food is excellent at reasonable pricing and service is alway efficient. Food is very consistent - not too salty.
We walked from our hotel to Walmart - along the way we found this place. Sat down and ordered our normal pho tai with shrimp spring rolls. Nothing spectacular about the food it was just "OK" . Service was slow though as my water was only refilled once. Would I return ? Probably not when there are so many more... More

But the service is fast and very efficient, even though lacking occasional smiles. Most popular dish, I noticed, is their Pho. Every time we visit Oahu,... More
