Great food for a good price. I have eaten there the last two times I have come to Oahu, and recommend it to anyone who wants a good plate lunch for a good price
I got the Ahi fish plate which was quite delicious! I had hiked 3 trails that day and was HUNGRY! It came with rice, and mac salad both staples in local plate lunches and delicious! I recommend it if you are into trying the local digs. I like going places and eating where the locals do opposed to the "touristy"... More
We thought we'd try some places where the locals go for some cheap eats...the key words here are "cheap eats" you definately get what you pay for... Yes the food is cheap in price but so is the quality...The dishes are big and you do get value in that...it's a one time stop.
L&L has several locations throughout the island. They serve a variety of dishes common to most local eats. It's quick, good and reasonably priced. It's better than average for what you pay for so I would recommend giving them a try for lunch.
A little place that serves locals there version of fast food. The other option is a Jack in the Box across the street or a 7-11 in the area, but it was worth trying local food. Had the teriyaki mixed meat platter with chicken, beef and short ribs. Served with rice, macaroni salad and cabbage for under $10.
This place hurt my feelings. I watch when i go to places like Hawaii to see where the locals eat and there were lots of locals at this L&L location. I ordered and the food had no love in it! For any food critics you know what I mean. It wasnt awful but it wasnt that great either.
We were looking for a quick place to eat before making the trek up Diamond Head. We finally found a shopping center, and L&L was one of the choices. The food wasn't really that good. We would have gone someplace else.
