I know the Palace must groan when the see those of us with the AFG gift cards coming to eat at this, one of the most exclusive restaurants in Cincinnati. However, our service has been excellent and the food wonderful - in combinations I would never expect.

Let me begin by saying that we will return to this restaurant next time we are in town. We think our experience was not the norm! We had an 8pm reservation and were seated at 8:20. We sat another 10 minutes prior to any attention. The place was incredibly busy and it seemed a bit disorganized. The food? Excellent, and... More

Food was good. I had fish and it was ok but everyone else praised their food. Expensive-about $75 pp with wine.

We enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere of the hotel and downtown Cincinnati. The food was just average. You could probably consider it less than that based on the cost. My wife had a $19 bowl of soup as an appetizer and it wasn't even hot. If I am spending this much for dinner, it better be spectacular and it was not.... More

We had breakfast at The Palace after an overnight stay at The Cincinnatian. We found it to be a nice little restaurant, rather tightly packed, though that wasn't a problem since it was relatively quiet at 9am on a Sunday morning. The food was good and the service was friendly and attentive. The prices, however, were high - eggs, bacon,... More

It felt claustrophobic because they really pack them in, but it was excellent food and excellent service. They give Jeff Ruby a run for his money here. If you're staying at the hotel you simply must eat here at least once. Crickets isn't bad either!

I suppose I should not have booked brunch on New Years Day. We made reservations for noon and the waitstaff and hostess seemed confused and a bit irritated to see us. Then the waitress told us not to feel bad ( we didn't) that some walk ins had shown up earlier that they thought were us. We were then shown... More

Restaurant seemed to draw an older crowd. Pretty dining room still decorated for Christmas , a Jazz Trio and a window view where we could see the horse carriages going up the street made for nice ambiance. The meal began with a delicious amuse bouche. We had the fried calamari for our appetizer. It was the best calamari I have... More
