Arrived here hoping for great fresh seafood. Ordered both the antipasti misto, one with prepared and one with fresh fish. The prepared dish came within 30 seconds, tasted as if it was prepared the day before and stored in the fridge. The antipasti with fresh fish was mostly clams (90% so not really a mix) but these were okay. When... More

There aren't many restaurants open for lunch at the end of October in Gallipoli. We came here because it was open and there were other diners and we're so pleased we did. The waitresses were very friendly coping well with our very poor Italian - we ate crab pasta and shrimp pasta and both were beautifully cooked with homemade pasta... More

I went to this restaurant yesterday and was surprised to read all the negative reviews. I liked the restaurant. A lot of choice, friendly service, decent food for a good price. It is not haute cuisine, but it tastes fresh and good. Unlike other restaurants, they don't have a tourist menu, which is a good thing.

This place probably has the nicest setting in town - right on the water, with candles, romantic tables for two, overlooking the old town. It's such shame about the food!! I guess when you have the best location going you dont need to try very hard. It could be so amazing but its just average. I would still recommend it... More

We chose to eat in Gallipoli following the advices from Tripadvisor. Our target: to find a restaurant with a sea view for a romantic dinner overlooking the sunset. Ok for the panorama, exactly what we were looking for, but the rest pretty mediocre. Next time I think I will try something else.

Drove through Gallipoli at the unenviable hour between lunch and dinner when nothing is open in the old part of town, so stopped here...the view is incredible and it was a nice day and eating outside seemed an excellent idea. Needless to say we shouldve just had a coffee or a drink and heading out of there. The food was... More

We had dinner together with our group in this restaurant during our stay in Gallipoli. Located in the historic center, a small island surrounded by sea, the restaurant is situated overlooking the ancient walls, and you can 'enjoy a beautiful sunset. Great food, nice owners. Recommended

This restaurant was recommended in one of the tour guides. I wish I had had an internet connection, as, as indicated by many others on tripadvisor,a this place is a mjor disappointment. The worst meal we had on holiday. and over priced The service was poor, the food was awful - stale bread! mussels over cooked. I could go on..... More

Great shame about this place. It promises much with a great location and inviting candles everywhere. The queue also leads you to believe it's worth waiting for. It's not. We had the locally caught fish of the day which was an extortionate €10 per 100g. When it eventually came with rosemary potatoes it was not filleted so upon request they... More

Restaurant lives by its encroachment onto the sidewalk overlooking a small bay. It's worth paying for a meal even if you do not eat, just to sit there for an hour. Menu is standard sea fare, moderately priced and acceptable for a simple lunch. The wine list is simple, but the markups are very moderate. Service courteous if a little... More
