One of the best Mexican Food restaurants I have ever been. Prices are very good too. They specialize in Huauzontle, Cecina and Chiles Rellenos. The open 7 days a week and I recomend to have a reservation...It's always packed.

Good and relatively cheap traditional central mexican food. The cecina is a traditional, but also their soups are very good. Enjoy with handmade tortillas.
If you are an aficionado of Mexican Cuisine, and are in Cuernavaca or Tepoztlan this is your place to eat. Great decor, beautiful open kitchen where you can see the big clay casseroles, and smell the spices and flavors as they cook. Very lively crowd, and UFO pictures on the wall , make it a great place before a long...

I expected something much better after all of the amazing reviews and sitting in line for 45 minutes. However, in the end the food was very average and the service was less than friendly. With all the talk of great Tepoztlan restaurants, I would definitely try my luck at one of the others next time.
Food quality keeps going down ,while the prices keep going up ,better off eating at a Fonda for typical food ,this place was not what it used to be .
This restaurant offers the most popular mexican dishes: chiles en nogada, tamales, guacamole, pollo en mole, etc. We ordered different dishes and we were all delighted. The atmosphere is charming: colorful but not noisy. There is plenty of tables but at noon it can be crowded so it is intelligent to arrive before 2. Perfect for families or large groups.
Just returned from eating at Los Colorines. Food was excellent, fresh and served warm. Service was quick and fast. When we mentioned that it was our friends birthday they brought her a piece of flan that served four.
I ordered grilled chicken, guacamole, black beans, and rice and it came with fries. The chicken looked dry but was tender and...

Good and original Mexican food, good service, good value. We have never been disappointed in Los Colorines and have been there more than 15 times.
Simple but nicely done restaurant offering really good food at good prices. BUT the Chilies en Nogada are outstanding. This national Mexican dish, with colors to represent the Mexican flag, green chilies, white sauce, red promegranats, is generally served elsewhere only in August and September, but Los Colorines menu carries my favorite Mexican dish year round and it is delicious.
