Good and relatively cheap traditional central mexican food. The cecina is a traditional, but also their soups are very good. Enjoy with handmade tortillas.

I expected something much better after all of the amazing reviews and sitting in line for 45 minutes. However, in the end the food was very average and the service was less than friendly. With all the talk of great Tepoztlan restaurants, I would definitely try my luck at one of the others next time.

Food quality keeps going down ,while the prices keep going up ,better off eating at a Fonda for typical food ,this place was not what it used to be .

Simple but nicely done restaurant offering really good food at good prices. BUT the Chilies en Nogada are outstanding. This national Mexican dish, with colors to represent the Mexican flag, green chilies, white sauce, red promegranats, is generally served elsewhere only in August and September, but Los Colorines menu carries my favorite Mexican dish year round and it is delicious.
