The unprepossessing premises disguise a culinary gold mine. The black pepper chicken and deep fried aubergine are two excellent examples. Very inexpensive, some of the best Chinese we've had, but don't go here if the decor is more important to you than the food!

Go to traffic lights by Golden sands. Cross over and walk down road opposite. On the left hand side (the last restuarant you come to) is the Golden sands. Cheaper as it is off of the main strip. Car park in the day, yet amazing restaurant at night! :) People are lovely and Chinese food to die for! Highly recommend the Belcan chicken. Enjoy!

This cafe was always busy with locals. It is cheap tasty, plenty of variety, and the staff, although very busy were helpful at all times. The food is served quickly and very hot and fresh. Our favourite place to eat during our month stay at Batu Ferrenghi.
