We had 3 nights in Parikia at the end of Sept 12 and went here every night after an initial recommendation from our hotel (Pension Sofia). The food was excellent and great value for money and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice menu, excellent Greek food, decent wine, service was cheerful and polite, but a bit slow due to many patrons. Go early (before 7:00) for best service.
I just had a wonderful meal at Trata. The staff was nice and the food excellent, and homemade fresh to order. The house wine was surprisingly decent. Usual fare for an ouzerie/fish restaurant. Pleasant staff but hot in summer and cold in winter.. No sea views and parking is difficult.
Small, fish based, restaurant run by the mother (the Chef) and assisted by her family. The food is among the best we found in the city and we returned several times. The Vine Leaves stuffed with rice are simply amazing and we had them at every meal. Also, the baked chick-peas were fantastic. Wonderful little place.
Staff was very kind and nice, food was also very good and in reasonable portions. We shared some zucchini balls, and then got grilled fresh squid stuffed with cheese: all very tasty. At the end of the dinner they offered some watermelon and a local dessert, all for about 30€. Very good value overall
Our dinner at Trata was one to remember....succulent, grilled octopus, hot zucchini balls and our favorite dessert of the trip, a homemade speciality called Patsavuropita, this was amaZing!!!!! The daughter was our waiter, enthusiastic and accomadating, the mother was the one and only chef, and did a great job quickly serving a lot of people..would definitely visit again!
On a recent visit we ate here every evening, it was such a pleasant place we felt no need to look anywhere else. Or rather we didn't find anywhere half as good.
Trata is a smallish family-run taverna near the waterfront, right next to the fish market, serving mainly fish. The restaurant is tastefully decorated in pale colours, and the...
