Have been coming to Greece for many years and To Maereio must go down as serving some of the best Greek food we have ever had. It's a great venue, quite small (cosy) in size and a bit different to your typical Taverna, very welcoming with very friendly staff. To start we had Fava beans and what I would describe... More

Visited on an anniversary trip to Mykonos. The bar is lovely inside - really nice decor. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I had the sweet and sour chicken, which was nice if not spectacular. My wife had the greek/mykonian sausage/stew, which neither of us were too keen on. It also could have done with some kind of rice/potato side.... More

Great greek food, good prices, nice atmosphere. We had the best falafel, fantastic meat balls, they also make gorgeous round courgettes stuffed with rice....delicious! I really hope it will never change!

I went off season, so not many resturant opening during the period. Luckily Maereio is one of few remaining good ones still opens. I really liked the starters I had there: one being the aubergine salad and one is the fish roe dish. The main i had Mykonos Saugage, it was slightly a bit salty for me, so not as... More

Go for the meatballs and the zucchini balls (so tasty, so soft...yummy,). Actually the rest looked good too but we didn't get to try everything! It's a very small yet charming place and we had a really good evening there (we went for the meatballs but when we arrived the waiter told us that that evening the meatballs were too... More

If you are looking for a real authentic Greek food, don't miss this nine table small restaurant. Be ready to wait on line, they don't take reservation.

To Maereio was recommended to us by a Greek American friend from Chicago, and he was right on the money. You may have to wait awhile to get in, but this place is a must in Mykonos. It's not elegant (rustic?) but the Greek food is perfectly done, and the service is good, too. Try the ketedakia (meat balls), sausage,... More
