Warm welcome from owner who loved to practise his English. The place to go for a steak frites and tasty lamb kebabs. Fast, fresh food with no pretence. Ideal stop for a quick lunch when trying to fit in as much as possible while touring the area.
Good food, good beer and good company! Dont expect a really posh restaurant but for simple, good value food, look no further.
Unfriendly - tried to move me to a dirty table near the toilets! Not something I had in mind, especially when there were many free tables. For the impression they don't like Brits here..
After visiting some 1914-18 battle sights we were very hungry.Wevetered the Pub at about 230pm and were welcomed by the waiter and the owner, they were both very polite and helpfull the owner funny as well Aluvverly beer quickly followed by a Lamd Kebab which I struggled to eat it was so big and very tasty inded. My wife chose a salad...

Was was varied with steak...

Visited twice last May and we received a warm welcome even dressed as bikers. The food was great, the price fair, th hospitality great. Will make an effort to visit whenever travelling in the area, even worth a bit of a detour to get there.
Visited last week or tried to. We were shooed away in a discourteous way as they were busy. Understand that others may not have had the same experience. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day.
Pleasant enough place for a beer, friendly staff, but I was not impressed by the food. Steak that appeared to have come from an overweight walrus which had been murdered with a chainsaw. Over-boiled vegetables to delight the die-hard British 1950's palate.
