Went for breakfast after staying at near-by hotel. Pros - Open 24 hours Cons - Very uninspiring food and coffee at breakfast time, took a long time to be served, place looked a bit tired after a big night (needed a good clean). Maybe Dream is OK later on in the day but breakfast time might not be their best.

Service was lightning fast! Prices comparable to the area. Place is air conditioned with delightful music playing In the back ground. Several 4 person tables, some 6. Large menu most dishes are good for two! Tasty! Ordered the caldereta, definitely good for two.

I’ve been a former boarder in this place and I hang out most of the time here. So this is what I have to say about this place. Dreamcafe is a great place, the food is great and delicious. Food ranges from pastry and local dishes to brewed coffee and foreign dishes. The staffs are very friendly and they always... More

This place has great food! And definitely affordable. We tried chopsuey -- they said it was good for 2 but upon seeing the amount served, it was definitely good for 3-4. I ate Chicken ala king rice toppings. They gave us a great service, always replenished our glass of water.

Went to this cafe when I was invited for by friends for dinner. I thought that they didn't serve actual food with rice at first cause I always thought it was just a bakery. Anyways, the place is a bit small. Meaning there times when you sit right at the back of someone else on another table. I don't really... More

Airconditioner set just right. Good pancakes and pleasant service but please invest in better coffee beans, and teach your staff to make espresso properly.

We are disappointed to hear about your coffee issue, even though you enjoyed your overall experience. Your comments about the coffee have been investigated, and it seems that we were using a different blend instead of our usual ones. We usually use either Philippines Batangas or Colombian arabica beans, but these were temporarily unavailable. Now we are back using our... More

The Dream Cafe, located near Guiseppe's, was for me the jack of all trades that catered to ALL people in Tacloban. First and foremost, it is open 24 hours... something that is rare with the Tacloban must-eats. There was huge variety in their menu and there was just something for everyone. They even had a drinks list for those that... More

Dream cafe is one of the most affordable and wonderful restaurants here in Tacloban City. Aside from the fact that it is located in the heart of the city, access is never a problem. The place has a very inviting ambiance especially if you are looking for a place where you can hang out with your family and friends. One... More
