We had a late lunch which may account for our being the only diners in the restaurant; very romantic. A nice quiet meal of tasty dishes -- especially the sea bass. Both soups were very good.

Vegetarians will enjoy the soups at Sofia. They are tasty and presented well. My husband and I ate there with friends a few nights ago and wanted something light. We each had the pumpkin soup and a stacked salad. Very satisfying. Great prices - warm atmosphere. Their mixed drinks are good too!

Gourmet food, good prices, excellent service.... I took a caipirinha with real cachaça and was delicious and a chicken en salsa de guayaba and that was a festival in my mouth, the place itself is perfect for a romantic dinner.... If i go back ill go again to that cool place, Sofia's place

This Sofia person, she can cook. Food was great. Service was great. I would go back. If you are traveling to Monteverde, this place is a must.

As soon as we opened the door and walked in you can smell the amazing food being prepared. Everything recommended was great. We especially love their signature cocktail Sofia Colada. The rich passion fruit colada was A+. Everything was perfect. We left satisfied and happy. Everything is GOOD.

We had an excellent dinner there yesterday. I had the fifth steak in Costa Rica and this was the first one I would consider as perfect. The medium-rare was really medium-rare and the sweet mashed potatoes were delicious. Also the rum recommendation was very good!
