  "My wife and I were on a 5 day ski break and as it was our last night plus it was my 40th birthday so we booked a table at Buergerstuben in Axams. The staff were very friendly and the waiter could speak good English. Like most places we visited in Austria the restaurant was clean and tidy. The wall..."s were literally covered in art pieces ranging from life paintings to landscapes, I think most are for sale. This added to the experience – a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach! When it came to ordering food we opted for 2 of the set menus, and what was to come was course after course of gastric delight! This statement is rich coming from me considering I am the sort of person who often feels very disappointed with the standard of food and value for money when dining out!
