"This place has some of the best 'Indian' food I've tasted anywhere in the UK, and certainly I've seen a number of reviews describing it as one of the best in Birmingham. The restaurant itself is not the most salubrious of surroundings (but still, not bad), and the service can be a little cool, but b..."ehind the scenes the chef is putting out extremely high quality food. Coupled with this is the incredible value for money. Two can eat well for £25. No alcohol is served in the restaurant but you can take your own. Enjoy!

"I don't get to the Vic often enough but I very rarely eat in my local village Alvechurch and opt for the Vic more often than not (but Weighbridge is still my fav :-) ). I had whitebait to start which was hot and delicious. Followed by rainbow trout, boulangere potatoes and green beans - hot, flavou..."rsome and superb. My mom had the home made bread - delish, followed by the sea bass with gnocchi - also lovely. Chose Viognier - dry, refreshing. And had cappucino as we were too full for desserts. It is not the cheapest place to eat but the quality of the food adds up to superb value. Natalie was delightful - knowledgeable about the menu - and very helpful and warm. I will be back!
