"we visited this restaurant prior to going to the rod stewart concert. we were greeted by a very friendly manager who showed us to our pre booked table and explained that as the time was 5.30 we could go and help ourself but that at 6pm a lot more new choices would be brought out. the choice without ..."the extras was very good and at 6 food such as shredded duck and pancakes; steak and huge prawns appeared. all the food was hot (something i always worry about at a buffet) and tasted fantastic. after we had had our fill of savoury it was time to descend on the sweet selection.....oh my! eton mess; banoffee; trifle; little cakes; ice cream plus many more! we also had a couple of drinks each both of which we thought were very reasonable. cant wait to go again

A side of fantastic home made fries and a beer.

No, they're better than very good, they're great.
I stumbled across Byron on Deansgate almost by chance, I'd seen the hoardings and was pleasantly surprised to realise that they were open. A 'soft opening' a couple of nights before the official opening. I'd eaten at Byron in Bluewater Kent and was greatly impressed.
The servers were friendly and attentive, the decor is modern indstrial chic, but bright and cheerful, not industrial grey. This in itself is refreshing.
The menu is minimal, a few starters, half a dozen burgers - all 6oz and all cooked medium ...
