Unfortunately it was just a bit too cold for us to sit at a table outside in the evening, although others did, so we ate inside which had a lovely atmosphere and was beautifully decorated with pictures of film stars of a bygone era. T..."he manager was extremely friendly and my gluten-free requirements posed no problem at all. He discussed my options, of which there were many, and our meal was wonderful. We both had smoked salmon to start, then sirlion steaks which were cooked medium to perfection. For dessert I had the raspberry pannacotta and my husband had chocolate fondant cake - both were lovely. The three course meal, plus a glass of wine each and coffees to finish cost €80 for two which was a lot less than we would pay for a meal of that standard back in the UK.   "This is a reasonably-priced cafe which is ideal for a quick snack. The savoury galettes are made with buckheat flour which is gluten free. They were really tasty. Unfortunately the sweet crepes contain gluten so I couldn't sample those! We ate there at lunch time on two occasions and would ..."advise sitting outside.
