De..."spite this, I can only whole heartedly recommend this as without doubt the best place we ate at during our week in Sicily and now one of my favourite Italian restaurants. The food is incredible (the mozarella was phenominal) and the atmosphere was great. The place is very cool - we were the only non-italians in the restaurant and I think the target audience is probably young professionals. It felt like somewhere locals ate - everyone seemed to know each other and the owners. It had a really laid back, relaxed vibe - like a group of people who could cook had been persuaded to open a restaurant for their friends to hang out at.
