  "During our first night in Basel (since we arrived at 6pm from the airport), we took about 1 hour to find a decent restaurant in Basel. Our first restaurant we saw Schlunseelzunft and we should have trusted our instinct after going to the market. Our first impression of the restaurant was very el..."egant and we felt under dressed. Fortunately, they had a bistro which served something similar to the fine dining but a smaller menu. That was it for us. The food was so good that we had to come again the following night. We had different dishes and the dessert was the highlight of the meals. Try the Mango-Jasmine, Green tea-Ginger and Lime Lemon sorbet. This sorbet are a different league altogether. I believe it was a little bit expensive but I suppose the price is around right for the Swiss region.
