  "Good traditional Umbrian food selections. Great wine. Good service. All at very reasonable prices. It gave us a great chance to try foods new to us, such as wild boar and pigeon. Loved the homemade pastas, especially the pasta with truffles."

  "We stayed in a villa about one mile up the road from La Torretta, so we stopped here often to either pick up wine or eat. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful to us in understanding the menu. We let the owners pick some of our meals, and their choices were outstanding. The antipasto di..."shes were fantastic (high quality meat and cheese). The pasta was homemade, and the olive oil grown on site. And the tiramisu was heavenly. Eight of us ate and drank and our bill was one of the lowest of our entire trip to Italy. The quality at an exceptional value. Plus, we stopped here several times to chat with the owners, and I felt as though we left our vacation with new friends from La Torretta. Plus, the drive up the hill to the restaurant is one of the most scenic of Orvieto, so this is a win-win. Do not miss this gem outside the heart of Orvieto! " More >

  "On our evening passiagatta looking for somewhere to eat, we were pleasantly surprised by reasonable prices. Tables set with linen which makes it look expensive! Great service from bow- tied waiters, who presented each dish with pride. Recommend the selection of antipasti , hot & cold assortment of ..."spreads, meats & delicacies ( we couldn't eat it all). Really different from usual offerings. My main was pork loin rolled with bacon , absolutely fantastic. Husband had rabbit, which tasted much better than any rabbit I'd tried before.
