Food is not the ultimate reason to go to Veselo Selo. The specialty of the establishment is to unite dinner with partying. Half way through the meal, music is turned up and dancers in Bulgarian national costumes appear. As the night progresses, the dancers start dragging diners into the dance. Later some of the diners themselves get up and start dancing so that by the end of the night the party is on with Dionysian fury.   "There's a good wine list, and the tables are well spaced which I like, especially as a non-smoker; it doesn't seem that Bulgarian restaurants are non-smoking. The food was well presented and plentiful, though not particularly unusual. The waitress was friendly."
