"This is a very old vegetarian restaurant in the heart of the city. This has a high end branch in Mysore itself called the Dasaprakash paradise and another branch in Chennai. This restaurant in Mysore is attached to the hotel. Residing in Mysore, I have visited this place quite a number of times. ..."This serves authentic south Indian dishes. South Indian and north Indian thali are also available. Halbai (a silken smooth sweet – not halwa), Guliappa (resembling the famous neyyappam of Guruvayoor, but a savoury) and rasam are their popular dishes. The food is of a good standard and reasonably priced.

"This is a popular vegetarian restaurant (one of my top choices of restaurants in Mysore), serving all kinds of north Indian and south Indian dishes – all kinds of dosas, chats, thali, ice creams, fruit juices, etc, etc. The items are quite delicious and reasonably priced. In the late evenings – es..."pecially on Saturdays and Sundays – the restaurant will be overflowing with customers. The service is very good. Somehow I like the ice creams here better than in any other place in the city.
