The juiciness of the vegetables with the tenderness of the meat combined with excellent stretchy gooey cheese, then the crust at the end of each slice I believed to be bread sticks!   "This was perfect for picking up lunches for the trips into Yosemite. It is close by the Mariposa Lodge, and not too busy. The staff were really very friendly, which seems to be the case in Mariposa overall."

  "After checking out the Sugar Pine Cafe for breakfast on our first trip to Mariposa.....we didn't need to go elsewhere for dinner or breakfast the next day. The meals were outstanding and the service was great too. It's similar to a diner, so some prima donnas might be looking for a different atmosph..."ere..but we absolutely loved it. Breakfasts with delicious blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes, thick cut bacon, cheesy grits, and excellent Peet's coffee. Dinner specials like a grilled corn and black bean chicken salad....soooo good. You can tell they are not cutting any corners on the quality or preparation of the food here. And price wise, better than most other restaurants in town. I wish we didn't live 300 miles away from this place...we'd be regulars.
