  "We've been to Taverna several times since they've opened now and continued to be impressed with the food and the service. The pizzas are expertly prepared in a coal oven, as are some of the other items on the menu. I got the special -- pulled pork served over roasted potatoes. The pork was tender...", the potatoes were perfectly done, and the entire dish was served au jus in a cast iron skillet. All other dishes were wonderful, including the chicken fingers and french fries, which certainly satisfied our six-year-old daughter. As for the service, they certainly have met the high expectations they have already set. Our server was very attentive, and even checked on t-shirt availability while we dined. The manager stopped by several times to make sure everything was okay and had a conversation with our daughter to make sure she was having a good dinner. Taverna is consistently serving up delicious food with wonderful service, making it well worth a visit. " More >
