Even though it's walking distance from our house (in nice weather) there were better places like Abba and, more recently, Buca's. I had the cippino - mussels, scallops, shrimp and clams were fresh, sweet and cooked perfectly in a delicious sauce. My wife had veal scallopine - "it was to die for."   "Such fresh tasting and wonderfully cooked food. I cannot think of a thing wrong with this restaurant. The service was attentive, without being intrusive. The food was exceptional. The warm baby artichoke hearts were delicious, the fresh pecorino just enhanced the flavour. I had the seared scallop..."s for secondi, which were so succulent, they just melted on the tongue, and the sauce was heavenly. My partner had the sicillian-style oysters and although he is a fan of raw oysters with just a twist of lemon, he thought he ought to give these a try. He was impressed and on my first taste of a raw oyster, I have to admit these were delicious. He had the zuppa di pesci which was filled with delicious fresh shell fish. The broth was flavoured with fennel, which gave it such a fresh taste. I'd love to be able to cook this back home in the UK, but I fear the shellfish would not be so fresh.
