  "Absolutely loved the Oak Inn! We came here based on reading about it and it lived up to its good reputation. It's worth booking a table for dinner as it's usually fully booked, there are two sittings, one at 6pm, the next at 8.15pm. It was packed the first night we went, so we only stayed for drinks..." but our appetites were thoroughly wheted as as the fragrant, beautifully presented dishes were carried past us. When we did have dinner we were we were spoilt for choice, really good and varied options. The food is seasonal and most products locally sourced and we were happy all round with our selections. Very flavoursome and good sized portions. The interior is very cosy and homely, just what you'd expect from a country pub and the staff were absolutely lovely. Top marks all round. " More >
