  "We are locals and eat at Saffron regularly (i.e at least a couple of times a month). Having tried all the other Indian restaurants on Cowes High Street (none of which are bad), we quickly came to the conclusion that Saffron is by far the best. The only time you might find it rather too noisy or ..."slightly over-whelming is on a weekend when there is a big regatta and it is packed to the rafters. All other times, it's pleasantly full to give it a great atmosphere, and there are more than enough staff. Abdul, the owner, is great at remembering people and names and goes out of his way to make people welcome. The menu is extremely extensive - spoilt for choice - if you're ever stuck then anything on the Chef's Specials are really good.
